So I am taking my cake decorating classes in a funny order. Actually, I am taking the first two simultaneously so it could get a bit interesting as we go more in depth and start learning more complicated techniques that take more practice. So far I have only gone to one of the classes and it was the level 2 one. I missed the first session for level 1 because it fell on my anniversary and you know. I kinda just wanted to spend that day with my husband. :)
Anyway, for not having any decorating experience behind me, I think I am doing alright. In the first class, I learned how to make a couple of different types of flowers and we practiced a couple of piping designs. They are no where near perfect but are not completely horrible. I really enjoyed learning how to do these and am looking forward to the next class and seeing what else is in store for me to learn. Here are a few pictures of what we have done so far.
